BUSINESS MODEL 1: Value Adder

Use Specto as an incentive to attract bowlers to your center over other bowling centers.

If you charge by hour

Example:
$402.36 (goal) / $15 per hour = 27 hours per month
Assuming a fee of $15 per hour then you would need
27 hours per month.
Payoff:
One person per day to use Specto less than an hour to pay off in three years.

If you charge by game

Example:
$402.36 (goal) / $3 per game = 134 games per month
Assuming a fee of $3 per game then you would need
134 games per month.
Payoff:
One person per day to use Specto for 4 games to pay off in three years.

Advantages:

It is much easier to get people to use the system when they don’t have to pay extra. Works well in hyper competitive markets with several bowling centers. This option works well when combined with things such as special lane conditions on certain days to increase the number of reasons to practice at your center.

Charge a different fee for lineage on lanes when bowlers are using Specto.

Membership could include:

• Free practice during your slower times (3-6 PM Mon-Fri)

• Discounts on lessons

Annual Fee: $99

Net Income per Member: $99 ($8.25 per month)

$402.36 (goal) / $8.25 per month = 48 members per month

Payoff:

48 members per month to pay off in three years.

Advantages:

Easy to target competitive bowlers (league, college, etc.).Could be combined with other business models.
